Patti (Patricia Corrado
Cotter Turner) is a life-long resident of New Jersey. She was born just over the state line in Suffern, New York. Her kids were recently horrified to learn they’d been living with an “alien”.
Patti’s parents did not approve of television. Instead, she was told to “go read a book” or “go outside and play…use your imagination”. Patti’s love of reading – floating away to an alternate reality – and her vivid imagination fueled her passion to write.
The birth of her first child resulted in an epiphany – Patti wanted to be a labor and delivery nurse. Leaving the business world to return to college, Patti achieved her goal of becoming a registered nurse (RN, BSN). She has worked as a labor and delivery nurse for over 28 years. Patti has also worked in other clinical specialties: orthopedics, oncology, telemetry, medical-surgical, reproductive endocrinology, and high-risk obstetrics. She considers being a labor and delivery nurse an honor and a privilege.
Now an empty-nester, Patti has returned to writing between hospital shifts. She is currently working on two novels.
